Hi, I’m Sabri!

A director, DP and cinematographer based in Frankfurt am Main with 20 of experience across the full production pipeline — from concept development through to delivery.

I work across both narrative and corporate formats, always with a strong focus on storytelling and visual quality.

Specialties
My core specialties are corporate and branded content, interviews and documentary-style productions. I’m particularly experienced in: corporate films and image videos, talking heads, vox pops, spokesperson pieces, panel discussions, cinematic interviews, branded content, product videos, recruiting films, and event coverage. I’ve also produced automotive content — including spots for brands like Audi and MINI — so I’m equally at home on a polished commercial as I am on a documentary shoot. On the technical side, I regularly work with drone/aerial footage, live streaming setups, studio productions, and greenscreen environments. I also do interviews and live streams for United Nations and the European Central Bank. I have highest security approval to work there.

Directing non-professional talent
A big part of my work is shooting corporate interviews and testimonials, which means I’m constantly working with executives, employees, and everyday people who have never been in front of a camera. My approach is to create a calm, relaxed atmosphere well before the camera rolls — I take time to explain the process, have a proper conversation to get them comfortable, and give them clear, concrete direction rather than vague instructions. I pay close attention to small details like chair height and posture, background comfort, and lighting setup, all of which help people feel at ease. The goal is always to capture something that feels natural and authentic rather than staged.

Style and filming approach
I describe my approach as smart, focused, and resourceful. I care deeply about light — whether that’s a high-key corporate setup or a moodier documentary look — and I always think in terms of story first, gear second. I’m hands-on from concept through to post, which means I understand how a shoot needs to be designed to cut well in the edit. I’m versatile across styles but lean towards clean, purposeful visuals with real emotional weight.

Preferred productions
I’m most in my element on corporate and branded content, documentaries, interviews, and commercial work — anything where strong storytelling and a well-considered visual approach makes a genuine difference. I enjoy productions that combine a degree of creative freedom with a clear brief, and I’m particularly drawn to projects in the areas of technology, mobility, finance, and social impact.
