I don’t think any season is bad or beautiful. That’s a good answer. Beautiful in all seasons.
4- What should somebody considering a shoot in DC bear in mind about transportation and logistics within the city?
It’s a driveable city. So actually, it’s not a bad place to get around. So having a car is not a handicap, which is cool. Both cities. But. It’s a very confusing. Street pattern. For people not living there. Yeah. Okay. It’s very simple. If you live there, if you know the system. But it’s very confusing. A Local will say “oh, Yeah. That street. Of course it goes that way”. And people from out of town will say. “I started on this street. And I ended up back on that street”.
5- Are there any tips for ensuring safety on a shoot?
DC Is a city with a lot of crime. Some of it is just burglary, but a lot of it. We were burgled. We had the house broken into a number of times. And shootings all the time. Bicycles. You lose bicycles all the time. Equipment you lose. I mean, there is a lot of crime.
6- But what times would you steer clear of shooting in the city?
You’re talking to a guy who does this for a living. In the right hands. There’s never a bad time to shoot here. Where there’s preparation. There’s a way.
