I’m writing this from the place where I accidentally started what became what is ACrew4U today. It’s the Canal Saint Martin in the 10th district of Paris.

Much younger than I am today, I had a dead-end job at a TV station in Paris, and ended up starting the firm when I needed some extra cash to help get a loan on an apartment here.

Nearly 22 years later, I’m still doing this side-hustle. The TV station job, long gone.

In the intervening period I and the Paris and  France production services team have helped people shoot major reality shows, light entertainment formats, more documentaries than I can recall, some second unit film material and literally hundreds of corporate videos here.

We’ve helped people stage mediaeval massacres, cookery and lifestyle shows and innumerable history, art and travel shows.

It’s a great location to shoot your factual or reality project, and I and the team know pretty much every inch of it, and the rest of France too.

So, if you’re thinking of adding a certain je ne sais quoi to your show, and need some local savoir faire, look no further.

We’ve got everything you need.

Whether you need a hand with research, locations, permits, crew, kit or anything else you can think of for your factual or reality shoot, we’re ready and able to make it happen.

We specialise in Reality & Factual Production Services and can help with Casting, Story Research, Unit Transport & Catering, Multi City Projects, Flights -Transfers & Hotels, Crew, Payroll, Local Line Production, Equipment Hire and Location Scouting & Permits.

From a remotely shot talking head or interview for a docco, right up to a full local line production for a big reality show, we have done it.

We have years of experience helping US and International productions spread their wings and add local interest to their shows. Household names like Kevin Hart, the Kardashians, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills/Orange County, Top Chef, Masterchef, Ant and Dec and Gordon Ramsay are but a few of the primetime names we’ve had the privilege to associate with.
