About Mark

Hi, I’m Mark!

I am an award-winning Director of Photography & Camera Op that is happy to offer my 20+ years industry experience in helping you tell your story.

I light and shot for Fortune 500s, national broadcasters, small businesses, and non-profits, including: Norfolk Southern, Proctor & Gamble, Netflix, HGTV, Discovery, etc.

I bring to every production, a creative eye, attention to detail, and a desire to exceed your expectations. I can use available lighting to create beautiful images and/or I can place my own lights to also create beautiful images. I can enter a space and quickly decide the spots to shoot that will look the best on camera, as well as getting multiple “looks” from one space.

I specialize in shooting corporate, broadcast TV, reality, and documentaries.

I own professional equipment, including (2) Sony Cinema camera packages, assorted LED battery-powered lighting, soft boxes, gimbal, jib, grip and audio.

Depending on the scope of the project, I can be proficient as a one-man-band, but also work regularly with other industry professionals and can help assemble additional crew as needed.

I direct people regularly that aren’t experienced in front of the camera and am able to coach them to achieve the best possible results.

I have lit and shot hundreds of attractive interviews and hours of quality, dynamic b-roll. I know how to shoot sequences and what visual elements are needed to tell a story. I work all of North Carolina, and into Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
