Hi, I’m Geir!

I have worked extensively as line producer, location manager, location scout and fixer for international feature films, TV shows and commercials filmed in Norway.

I have also produced and directed documentaries, feature-length films, commercials and TV programmes for Norwegian broadcasters including NRK, TV2 and TV3.

I specialis in documentaries, factual storytelling, short drama and cinematic branded content, with a strong focus on authentic characters and location-driven visuals.

I am very experienced in both high-end film production and smaller, agile crews.

I have a broad network of professional crew in the Oslo region – including cinematographers, sound recordists and editors – and is used to building flexible, multidisciplinary teams for each project.

I am particularly skilled at working with non-professional talent and first-time participants, creating a safe and trusting environment that allows genuine, spontaneous moments to unfold on camera. My directing style is observational, empathetic and cinematic, balancing structure with room for improvisation.

I enjoy productions that combine realism with strong visual storytelling – from creative documentaries and social issue films to branded stories and cultural features.
