What is your favorite drink or recipe from the city?
Typically, it’s quite common for us to end up around Clarke Quay or Boat Quay, which are located along the river leading up to Marina Bay. There are numerous options in terms of bars, especially when it comes to Bard-style establishments. You’ll find a mix of more traditional British-style pubs and Irish bars, among others.
Drink
Personally, I prefer cider and wine over other drinks. So, I usually look for a place that serves a good pint of cider. When it comes to winding down after a shoot, I tend to gravitate towards either Clarke Quay or Boat Quay, enjoying a beer or cider.
Food
Regarding food, my preferences have evolved over time. I used to attempt a vegan diet, although I’m not as strict about it now. Despite that, I still have a fondness for local cuisine, such as nasi lemak or chicken rice. If I want to impress a client, I might take them to the East Coast for some delicious chili crab. It’s a favorite among clients and, though a bit pricey, it’s a fantastic way to wrap up a shoot—enjoying beers and chili crab on the East Coast.
